WHAT BRINGS YOU THE MOST SATISFACTION WORKING AT PHYNET?
“I am able to do a lot of the diagnostic tests (90%) here rather than sending them elsewhere. Word of mouth referrals mean a lot, too.”

WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO SEEK A CAREER AT PHYNET?
“This was one of many offers I had. John Ford really wanted to build a good clinic. I wanted to be a part of this.”

WHAT BRINGS YOU THE MOST SATISFACTION WORKING AT PHYNET?
“Seeing people get better. I like the challenge of being an Internist…being able to ‘fix” things that maybe some others haven’t been able to or can’t”

WHAT BRINGS YOU THE MOST SATISFACTION WORKING AT PHYNET?
“Taking care of everyone in the community. One incident I recall is when the wife of a man out camping reported him with serious problems. After I recommended she call 911, I, also, immediately alerted the fire chief, who rushed the camper to the hospital. He was there 3 weeks! He survived!”

Teofilo R. Sanchez, MD • Since January '09

WHAT BRINGS YOU THE MOST SATISFACTION WORKING AT PHYNET?
“Taking care of the ENTIRE family. Seeing them improve. A real fulfilling experience was a male patient who had gone to specialists because one leg was atrophying. No one could even diagnose the cause nor did they try treatment. They were overly concerned about just diagnosing one problem and not treating the ‘whole’ patient. I put him on a metanx vitamin. He is now improving!”

WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO SEEK A CAREER AT PHYNET?
“I already knew Richard Turner. The opportunity and timing to come on with a new clinic was excellent.”

Michael J. Weber, MD • Since '07

WHAT PROMPTED YOU TO SEEK A CAREER AT PHYNET?
“John Ford and I had known each other a long time. PhyNet helps me so much in administration. I can practice medicine without all the paperwork aggravation.”

WHAT DO YOU FEEL IS BIGGEST CHALLENGE IN HEALTH CARE YOU WANT OVERCOME?
“That doctors…health care practitioners…be able to practice without the pressure of the economics. Malpractice insurance problems must be better addressed and managed so costs can be effectively contained. We need to be able to provide quality care for less money. I practice medicine because I truly ENJOY the privilege of taking care of patients.”
